Our History

After leaving General Electric in 2005, Michael Cohen and several other partners founded TranSigma to meet the under-served lean process improvement market. They quickly expanded the services portfolio to include web and business application development

Five years later, Kevin Hanrahan joined the team, becoming CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Kevin, Michael and the rest of the TranSigma team reformulated TranSigma’s strategy, resulting in a more focused, yet global, managment consulting firm that recognized the ‘Digitized Lean Process’ as the center of the TranSigma portfolio of services; the transformation of people, technology and data working together in a new streamlined process.
